The Seventh Day of Christmas

Day 7:

Laura's mom's friend Susan asked if she could be responsible for Day 7. Seven swans a swimming.

Susan made a HUGE cookie - and iced it blue. On top of it she placed seven white swan cookies -- perfect!! Seven swans a swimming!!

I remember visiting Laura that day - I know it was that day because I got to enjoy one of the swan cookies. Laura told me she just loved the Twelve Days of Christmas and she didn't want it to end.

Naturally, my instinct was "well then it won't end." I had no idea what we'd do at the time, but the ideas started to come, and we found all kinds of great ways to celebrate special days for Laura and her family.
