Happy Halloween! While many are preparing for an evening of fright and delight, someone facing one of life's challenges might be dreading a night in.
If you know someone who is homebound this evening, why not make the night special for them too? Do a little reverse trick or treating and drop a treat at your friend's house; while out on your trick-or-treating adventures, stop by your friend's home and provide some fun treats for your friend. You do not have to do anything extravagant, a candy bar or pack of gum works well.
This can also be done at nursing homes and extended care facilities. Families with new babies might also appreciate having a few small surprises for older siblings who might not be able to enjoy the evening's adventures due to a new family member.
Be creative, do something fun, and let us know how it goes!
